How do motorized retractable screens work?
Motorized screens roll down from a housing mounted at the top of your opening. A small motor built into the housing lowers and raises the screen using a remote, wall switch, or smart home app. When the screen is up, the housing is barely noticeable. When it’s down, you get a tight, clean screen across the whole opening.
Can retractable screens handle wind and rain?
Yes, when you pick the right system. We offer wind-rated screens built for lake and mountain homes that see real weather. These screens lock into side tracks and can stay down in strong gusts.
